FAQs

What areas do you service?

We proudly serve clients in Clemmons, Bermuda Run, Advance, and select apartment complexes in Winston-Salem.

How do I schedule and pay for dog walking and pet visits?

Request and pay for services (after meet and greet), message us, and update your records all on the Time to Pet App or through the Time to Pet portal.

How do the appointment windows work?

We schedule appointments within designated time windows to help us manage our routes efficiently and account for factors such as traffic or extended visits with other pets.

Our appointment windows are as follows:

  • Early Morning: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM

  • Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

  • Late Evening: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Please note that arrival will occur at any time within the selected appointment window. For instance, if you schedule an afternoon appointment, our arrival may take place anytime between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

We appreciate your understanding, as this approach allows us to provide reliable and consistent service while accommodating unforeseen delays.

All scheduling requests are confirmed during our regular business hours, which are 9AM-6PM Monday through Friday.

Payment policy?

Services are not confirmed until full payment has been submitted. All clients are automatically enrolled in AutoPay which will charge the card on the clients account two days prior to service. Clients may opt out of AutoPay, however they will be responsible for manually submitting payment once invoice is received via e-mail three days prior to service.

Cancellation policy?

We provide a full refund if canceling 2 or more days’ prior to scheduled visit. We charge 50% cancellation fee if canceling within 1 days’ notice of scheduled visit. We do not offer refunds if canceling same day of scheduled visit.

Are your times guaranteed?

We operate on early morning, morning, afternoon, and late evening windows. If you have a scheduled appointment for the afternoon, we will arrive anytime between 2:00pm and 5:00pm to begin service.

Do you offer different appointment times other than 40 minutes?

Currently, we only offer 40 minute dog walking and drop-in pet visits.

Overnight stays?

We do not provide overnight stays at this time. However, we do offer early morning, late evening, and daytime appointments for out of town clients.

Would you need a key to my house?

Yes. Please have an extra key ready for us to keep at the time of the meet & greet. This key will be used for current and future scheduled visits. If you have a keyless entry system, we ask that you provide an alternate method of access—such as a backup key—in case of power outages or system malfunctions.

Alternate Option:
You may use a lock box (provided by client) with an access code. Place the lock box on the door of your choice. When your pet care provider arrives, they will take both the key and the lock box with them for the duration of the assignment. At the final visit, they will return the lock box (with the key inside) to the original location. You may retrieve it once you’re home.

Are you Insured?

Yes. We are insured and bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas.

Are you Certified?

Yes. We are certified through National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) and we are First Aid/CPR certified.

What happens if a pet becomes ill while the client is out of town?

If we suspect that a pet is unwell while the client is away, we will immediately attempt to contact the client using the emergency phone number on file. Should the client determine that veterinary attention is necessary, we will promptly transport the pet to their designated veterinary clinic for evaluation and treatment.

In the event we are unable to reach the client, we will use our best judgment to assess the situation. If we believe veterinary care is required, we will take the pet to a trusted veterinary clinic of our choosing to ensure timely medical attention.
